RFD is a firm of Architects and Engineers specializing in the design of laboratories for Academic, Institutional and Industry clients.  Experience in design and documentation of laboratory facilities is a benefit for consideration, however, not essential. Motivated employees will work closely with experienced laboratory consultants on a range of projects to gain specific technical experience.  Positions at RFD from Project Manager to Project Coordinator include the opportunity to travel to colleges, universities and architect’s offices across the county to meet with researchers, faculty and design team members.

Project Manager – Research Facilities Design is seeking Project Managers who like to travel and want to specialize in laboratory design.  RFD’s national / international practice is looking for architecturally trained project managers with organizational and independent working skills with the ability to learn technical issues and interact with clients.  An architectural license and experience with laboratory programming and design is a plus.

Project Coordinator / Job Captain - Research Facilities Design is looking for project coordinators with AutoCAD 2002 to 2007 experience who can manage and coordinate the documentation of several projects at one time.  Candidates must be able to communicate with architects and engineers from other companies.  The position includes some travel and the opportunity to grow into a Project Management position.
