RFD provides specific laboratory related engineering to
support the requirements of each project and to support the building engineers
with laboratory related design criteria and information. As an example, we have developed programs to determine heat
gain / cooling loads for laboratory equipment on a room by room basis. We
deliver this information during the Design Development Phase to provide building
engineers with cooling load information they can depend on.
Within the laboratory space we design and document piped
services from the point of contact to the point of termination within the
laboratory. We design and document electrical service within the
laboratories for laboratory equipment, including branch circuiting
and panel
schedules. The goal of specialized tools is to provide timely support to
the building engineers and design team.
