70,146 NSF Laboratory and laboratory support space in a 121,792 GSF building supporting the five areas of Receptor Biology, Gene Regulation, Cellular and Systems Neurobiology, Molecular Epidemiology and Developmental Therapeutics in addition to a Vivarium.  Support spaces include Vivarium, Tissue Culture, Cold Rooms, Autoclave/Central Glasswash, MRI, Crystallography, Crystal Growing, Dark Room and Sequencing.  This project is building on the strength of the geneticists in the institute for Genetic Medicine, the Molecular neuroscientists in the basic science departments of the University of Southern California School of Medicine, the Epidemiologists at the University of Southern California Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, and the clinical expertise of the physician scientists in the clinical departments to bring together basic and clinical neuroscientists to focus on a wide range of human disorders.
