70,000 NSF of Teaching and Research Laboratories with support space in a 158,000 GSF four-story building for the Departments of Biology, Marine Biology, Chemistry and Physics.  The Teaching Laboratories are designed to take advantage of natural light and include integrated projection and smart board units.  Large fume hoods with split sashes and occupancy sensors help to manage energy usage in the Chemistry Teaching Labs.  Flexible casework allows for adaptability of Teaching and Research Labs.  Specialized support includes NMR and Electron Microscope Labs, Animal Facilities, an H3 Storage Room, Roof Top Greenhouse, Controlled Temperature Aquaria Rooms and a Piped Seawater System.
