This project includes 45,000 nsf of laboratory in an 87,000 gsf research building. An additional connected 25,000 gsf clinical building completes the project. This combination of biomedical research & clinical space will give UNR researchers the opportunity to push the boundaries of translational research in cooperation with several private-partner clinical research groups. The research labs support translational biomedical research with focuses that include Microbiology and Immunology; Pharmacology; and Physiology. The building also houses a BSL-3 core laboratory suite & a vivarium suite. The vivarium facility includes conventional holding as well as a comprehensive barrier facility.
