47,939 NSF of laboratory and laboratory support space in a building establishing a Center of Excellence for children’s health and biomedical research, with an emphasis on multidisciplinary translational research.  Laboratories and support space were designed for maximum adaptability with fixed benching limited to perimeter walls, leaving the laboratory spaces open with mobile benching and ceiling service connections.  Facility includes barrier and conventional vivarium and surgery suite, generic core facilities, central glasswash/autoclave and radioisotope work room.
