The University of Delaware's Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Laboratory Building (ISEB) is a hub of teaching and research on campus. The 209,181-square-foot facility brings together students and faculty from various desciplines to teach, learn and conduct research in a collaborative environment. The research wing houses core facilities for teams researching the fields of alternative energy, petroleum and atmospheric impacts. The core facilities include an imaging and Microscopy Suite, 10,000 square foot Cleanroom Facility for Nanofabrication R&D and an Advanced materials Characterization laboratory.
