Description

The new 31,000 square foot Science Building at the Signal Peak Campus is the latest addition to the Central Arizona College District, providing a "pure science" experience to students. The building is dedicated to the Science Division with teaching laboratories, support spaces, and offices solely for science faculty and students, including a purposed STEM classroom. The entire ground level has been purposed for the Life Sciences with General Biology, Microbiology, and Anatomy & Physiology laboratories to support the extensive Health Professions programs on campus. While the physical sciences make up the second floor of the facility with laboratories for General and Advanced Chemistry courses, Physics and Astronomy, and the principles of Engineering.
