About this project
The CoorsTek Center is a state-of-the-art interdisciplinary research and teaching facility that creates the potential for bold breakthroughs by fostering student, faculty and industry connections. It is the home building for the Department of Physics and provide more than 28,000 square feet of flexible lab space and technologically advanced classrooms to foster interactive, hands-on learning, as well as support the highly collaborative specialties within Physics, which include sub-atomic research, condensed matter research, and applied optics. The unique core facilities in the building consist of the Electronics Materials Fabrication laboratory, Materials Analytical Instruments lab, and the International Center for Multiscale Characterization (ICMC).
