About this project
This project provides 70,000 NSF of laboratory space within 82,000 NSF of total space as a complete replacement and renewal of the University of Houston College of Pharmacy facilities. These new UN COP spaces are inside a multi-use 336,000 GSF building that also includes an Integrated Care Facility and research space for the Department of Research. New instructional facilities for the College of Pharmacy include a multi-use Care and Compounding Lab, a Sterile Products Lab, and an Objective Structured Clinical Evaluation (OSCE) Suite. New research facilities for the College of Pharmacy include laboratories for Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medicinal Chemistry, Clinical Sciences and Pharmacy Health Policy and Outcomes. Specialized facilities include an NMR facility; a high-end spectrometry suite; specialized formulation laboratories; and in-vivo electrophysiology, histology, and testing facilities.
