About this project
76,800 NSF of teaching and research laboratory and laboratory support space in a new 110,000 GSF building and three phases of renovation. The overall Science Center master plan totals 235,000 GSF for the Departments of Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Geology, Math and Computer Sciences, Physics and Psychology. The new certified LEED Gold Johnson Hall building includes facilities for the departments of Biology and Chemistry. Programs accommodated include teaching and research laboratories for a variety of biological sciences, neuroscience, and chemistry. The building also incorporates a greenhouse, instrument center, and vivarium to support faculty/student research activities.
