About this project
The Old Chemistry Building Renovation/Addition project both renovated the existing “Old Chem” facility and created a new addition to house modern teaching, research, and core laboratory facilities. While research facilities were focused on Chemistry, the new teaching facilities are interdisciplinary in nature and include space for chemistry, anatomy, neuroscience, and engineering laboratories. Core support facilities include wood, metal, and electronic shops, NMR labs, a sensor core, and an XRD lab.
