About this project
This 130,000-square-foot building is the first phase of a two-phase project that will provide a new home for the University of Maryland Eastern Shore School of Pharmacy and Health Professions. The Phase 1 building houses the entire School of Pharmacy program, including instructional laboratories, simulation facilities, and research facilities. The project also provides a rodent vivarium facility that supports School of Pharmacy research, while serving as a campus resource. Specialized laboratory facilities include pharmacy compounding instructional laboratories, a simulated sterile compounding instructional suite, simulated instructional pharmacies, an NMR facility, and an insect research suite. In addition to laboratory planning and design services – RFD has also provided comprehensive equipment planning scope on this project.
