About this project
The new 3-story facility at the Isodore Newman School is intended to support students that are technically oriented and embrace the sciences. The Middle School and Upper School science classrooms for each Biology, Chemistry, and Physics are collocated so that younger students have a chance to comingle with upperclassmen, fostering collaboration and leadership. A Signature Laboratory on the floor of each scientific discipline provides enhanced opportunities for students to challenge themselves and go beyond the AP courses with their own research activities, along with a new 1,250 square-foot MakerSpace, complete with the necessary tools for young minds to design and fabricate their own innovations.
