About this project
41,459 NSF of laboratory and laboratory support space in a 111,299 GSF building for the departments of biology, chemistry, and physics. The four-story structure includes teaching laboratories for a range of life sciences including a center for microbiology. Earth and physical science include teaching laboratories for geology, physics, and advanced chemistry. The project is supported by a comprehensive suite of maker spaces for the life sciences including project-based laboratories and support spaces for biology, microbiology, microscopy, design, prototyping and fabrication. The building’s mission of science education and investigation is also supported by an imaging core housing advanced imaging and analytical instruments.
