Description

12,621 NSF of laboratory and laboratory support space in a 26,030 GSF building for the Departments of Biology, Chemistry, and Water and Environmental Technology. Facility includes a two-story addition to the existing DeJardin Hall Science Building and provides instructional laboratories for Anatomy/Physiology/Zoology, Biology/Environmental Science, General Biology, General/Organic Chemistry, Introductory Chemistry, and Water and Environmental Technology. Laboratory support spaces include Live Animal Room, A&P Cold Storage, A&P Study Room, Field Equipment Storage, Biology Prep & Storage, Student Projects Lab, Water and Environmental Technology Instrument Room, Chemistry Prep, Chemical Storage, and Chemistry Instrument Room. The Introductory Chemistry curriculum is presented through a unique self-paced independent study format in a dedicated laboratory space and an adjacent study room.
