Description
25,093 NSF of laboratory and laboratory support space in a 60,424 GSF building for the Departments of Physics and Astronomy. Facility includes eight Teaching Laboratories for first through fourth year physics instruction and an Outreach Laboratory for primary and secondary school science programs. Laboratory support spaces include 15 Optical Experiments Rooms, Student Workshop, Lab Tech Workshop, two Light Tight Experiment Rooms, and three Acoustics and Fluids Experiment Rooms. An observatory dome and radio telescope are located on the roof deck. A large Lecture Theater with attached Demonstration Prep and Storage Room and a Physics Learning Center are located on the ground level.
