Description
56,855 NSF of laboratory and laboratory support space in a 193,186 GSF Building for the Departments of Botany, Chemistry, Geosciences, Microbiology, Physics and Zoology. Facility includes over 55,000 NSF of laboratory and support space for these departments, for both teaching and research facilities. Teaching laboratories typically accommodate 24 to 30 students, while the research labs are shared between multiple faculty within similar disciplines, such as organic and synthetic chemistry. Support spaces shared between departments include chemical stores, an animal facility, shared instrumentation, equipment rooms, controlled temperature rooms, and an imaging facility.
